Birthday Post

I celebrated my 22 birthday in Ecuador this year. Two days before my birthday we had a big family reunion. My aunt's surprised me with a cake that read Feliz Cumpleanos on it. Everyone sang Happy Birthday to me in Spanish, I made a wish, and blew out the candles. I had a great time spending the day with tons of family. A very memorable day indeed. 

On my actual birthday (July 6th), I woke up to a sweet text from my mom wishing me a happy birthday. That night my pops, Jeremy and I went out on the town and had a very nice dinner in Guayaquil. The food was so delicious. The waiter was so sweet and brought me the best tasting flan I have ever had. I'm not even a big flan fan, and I absolutely loved it! We had a great time hanging out just the three of us.

 

When I got back to Albuquerque E had a big bag of birthday goodies waiting for me. I was so excited to see what was inside. He is so sweet and definitely went above and beyond this year in the gift department. He stuck to my list and got me not one thing off of it, but four! Like I said before, I would have been perfectly content with a Saggios date, but I have to admit I was ecstatic when I saw what was in the bag! Aaahh!

 

On top of all of the great presents, E took me out to dinner and a movie. Being reunited with a scrumptious slice of Saggios pizza was wonderful! (ha! I'm pathetic) After dinner, we went and saw Inception. It was such a great movie that topped off such a great day! Thank you so much E for making my birthday so awesome. I had the best time spending the day with you. Uda Uda Best!

P.S. I received the funniest birthday voicemail from Julia, and the sweetest birthday email from Candise. Thanks guys for thinking of me across the sea. It meant a lot to me to receive b-day wishes from you even though we were so far apart. I love you both!
